@JohnFourtyTwo I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I also agree with your opinion to some extent, and I criticize some parts about the movies too, but I feel like Star Wars, just like children's movies, get a little more wiggle room than hard scifis and such

@Jussari You can't use "it's a space opera, it's not supposed to be super realistic" to justify substandard writing every time someone has an opinion you don't agree with because that reasoning works both ways. I will always provide constructive criticism of movies and TV shows regardless of its genre because I expect my entertainment to be quality written programs, not programs that constantly distract me with impractical deus ex machina storylines. In this case I wasn't asking for super realism, just non-insulting practicality which isn't too much to ask for because it's easier to be engaged with the suspension of disbelief when I'm not constantly being reminded how unbelievable it is; great writing easily avoids this problem. Critical fans love the Star Wars franchise and criticize ROTJ for being ruined by the Ewoks and dumming down of Stormtroopers. You're entitled to your opinion and I respect that, all I ask is the same.

Usually the frame around these documentaries are because they were originally filmed back when 4.3 Letterbox Aspect Ratio was still the norm for recording & these documentaries would be shown on various Tv Channels that were in 4.3 on our Tvs until widescreen finally was made available on Tv's... No doubt whoever posted this had it recorded from the old 4.3 aspect ratio & added the frame around it so there wasn't a huge black gap... DVD's of these movies was the best way to get these documentaries but you have to take into account if said documentaries were made at the time the DVD versions of these films were released as George Lucas brought out many various versions of his first 3 Star Wars films which of course were the last 3 & he'd release them with better sound & added in special effects along with fixing shots & scenes that werent 100% perfect & again these updated versions of the films were released on DVD again & then you have the Anniversary Editions that will have even more updated extras... et al I loved DVDs in the eatly years when they came out as not only was the audio & visuals amaxing compared to a VHS version but they were also jammed packed full of full length documentaries/blooper reels/outtakes & the Directors Cut that wasnt shown in cinema for being to long but now you get next to nothing on DVD films or Blu Ray movies now & its usually just the film & if you lucky a so called behind the scenes thats about 8 to 10 minutes long & cut into small vignettes... Its a case of the film is going to sell on DVD or Blu Ray anyway & all these great documentaries are cut out of them now & this was such a great added bonus but no your lucky if you get any extras on DVD or Blu Ray & if you do its usually very minimilist & basic... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus outbreak stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world... .....
